1. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO START MY PHOTO BOOK?
Just your photos as well as scans/pictures of items you'd like to include such as ticket stubs, menus, children's artwork, handwritten notes, journaling...  I'll ask you what your vision is for the photo book (theme, colors, size, fonts,...),  your budget, and any deadlines you'd like to meet.

2. DO I NEED TO SORT THE PICTURES FIRST?
Sorting pictures is, in my opinion, the biggest hurdle to starting a photo book. Depending on time and budget we'll decide together whether you need to sort the pictures first or not.  If you have printed pictures I'll let you know where to get them scanned. 

3. HOW DO I GET MY PICTURES TO YOU?
Whatever is easiest for you. Upload your pictures to an online drop box, send me a memory stick, flash drive...it's up to you.

4. WHAT RESOLUTION DO YOU NEED MY PICTURES?
Typically I need photos that are at 300dpi but I can work with lower resolution photos. 

5. WHAT IF MY PICTURES ARE NOT GREAT OR THE RESOLUTION IS LOW?
Don't despair! There are a number of ways to improve a picture. We can use color correction, converting to black and white, cropping, and filters to make a picture look good.

6. DO YOU WORK WITH BLACK & WHITE PICTURES
Absolutely. I can also retouch and work with older photos.

7. HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
Every photo book is different so please contact me for an accurate quote. I'd be happy to talk to you about your photo book project and see if we can make it work within your budget.

8. WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO BOOKS PRINTED?
I typically use Blurb.com but I'm happy to use the printer of your choice.
